Secret The Wire Season 5 spoilers -part 1
I have no guarantee any of these spoilers are really true but I’ve heard the following from a well informed Wire devotee.
- Avon Barksdale gets out of prison and retakes the throne. A turf war ensues between Marlo and Avon.
- Dukie becomes “hard” like Bodie and ends up getting killed by a stick up boy.
- Omar is killed by Michael.
- McNaulty is kicked out the police department. He becomes a private detective.
- Prop Joe gets killed by Marlo.
- Carcetti gets dirty from campaign money. He stops his reforms.

I doubt any of these claims. None of them have anything to do with the theme of the 5th season, which is the media.
If u people are such devoted wire fans u might notice that Avon barksdale has another 3 years to his 5 year sentence from the first season and “weapons and conspiracy charges add another 25 years. so unless the show suddenly goes 27 year. And as for the none of them having nothing to do with the theme of season 5, it doesnt matter what the theme is guy the streets is the corner stone of that show. maybe watch the first 4 seasons.
-JFH if you were a true fan you would remember that Avon got out of jail early by setting up that guard. It doesn’t matter how long the sentence is, you work the system and get out.
JFH before u try to rip someone ur wrong about ur theory…he had 3 years left yes…he didn’t catch the conspiracy charge because the other guy said that all of it was his…McNulty even said that he was just going to do the rest of his sentence before he showed him the warrant…I’m sure there will be a lot going on through the season since its only 10 episodes…should be interesting

Bodi was the one Michael killed…that was some crazy stuff…Omar getting done by Michael, that would be nuts if thats the case…I think Michael should kill Marlo…
Actually I thought the same thing when I watched the show in real-time. When I slowed down the picture I realized that it wasn’t Michael that killed Bodi. This makes sense since Nay used to work for Bodi so he would have recognized michael creeping up. Actually the shooter was one of the boys they showed earlier in the season being taught by Chris and Snoop.
I watched “FINAL GRADES ” Lastnight again and i can positivly say that MICHEAL didnt kill bodie … Plus if you remember chris told marlo that it needed to be somebody MICHEAL didnt know for the the 1st time … I read this post months ago and after watching season 4 again i don’t think mcnualty is gonna get fired .. but i do think that bunk will cause we know he should… OMAR is gangster but come on we all know that he gotta die … he’s robbed to many people for him not to go down .. ( he’s one hella of a character no homo ) .. And cant wait to see the deal barksdale and marlo come up with… and prop joe has got to die for playing both sides of the fence ( meth too ) … just my thoughts
Omar is a total gangster, the writers of the show really outdid themselves in creating that character.
I do agree with you Stokley that Prop joe is living on borrowed time but I have to figure that he’s going to play a prominent role in this season since 1. They’ve been running those commercials featuring the “young” prop Joe 2. The greeks are definitely going to be back AND pissed because omar snatched the package…what happens when they find out that Prop Joe bought it back at 20c on the dollar? Also will the Co-op find out that he then told them he bought it back at 40c on the dollar? I think their may be another Quorum on the horizon!!

mike killed bodie, mike kills omar ,marlo takes over the co op slim gets apart of the west side , mcnulty gets kicked off the force , oh yeah remeber savino from season 1 oh omar kills him , and the ending you have all waited 4 remeber slim & avon are tight marlo ass is in some shit because AVON GETS OUT (the king stay the king ) & all webay charges got throwed out so the barksdell /stanfield war continues man yall need to cop da bootleg then you want need this! oh yeah the same way they have the prequels there will be 5 after everything goes down & there will be a wirer movie 2010 sorry if i spoiled it 4 ya! holla

Michael didn’t kill BOdie. The dude that was in the backseat of the truck with Snoop and Monk when they rode on the bammas on the corner did it. He’s a fkin buster with all of that “let’s go West Coast” bullshit. lol…Go back and watch the “Final Grades” episode of season 4 and watch closely. You can clearly see it’s him. It never was a secret. True fans know that you have to be perceptive and listen closely. Everything is said and done for a reason.

OH, and watch the HBO DVD of Season 4 - the FINAL GRADES episode and listen to the commentary. David Simon said it was O-DOG. Want more proof? Well if you saw this weeks episode you know its is def true that prop joe gets killed by Marlo. damm that Marlo is one cold mofo, but like someone said everything is done for a reason and you could tell that Marlo was learning everything from Joe for a reason, but i do not see why he had to kill him he could have takin him up on his proposition bt i think Marlo likes watching people die. sick bastard. The rest f it i guess we will have to wait and see.
Marlo killed Prop Joe because Joe had a reputation as a snake. Marlo has never liked people who talk too much, and simply did not trust him. Also, Prop Joe represents the old guard of the streets, and as we have seen, Marlo is the antithesis of the original “code of the streets.” Marlo represents a new breed of gang banger. Plus, Cheese is a better ally to Marlo because he isn’t as devious as PJ, therefore not as much of a threat. Marlo is a dangerous mix of intelligence and pure evil, and he has no respect for any rules, code or structure. Just soulless evil and an appetite for destruction.
I still don’t understand why Marlo killed Prop Joe. I diodn’t see anything foreshadowing that coming either?

Prop Joe dies cheese sells him out marlo talks with the greek himself
Omar gets a cellphone from vondas
Lester gets Omar cell phone finds out there send pictures to each other the pictures are clocks
dookie gets into a fight on the corner with that little kid same as namond and then they jump him mike teaches him to shoot then takes him to the boxing gym
Bunk investigating Mikes step fathers murder and bring him in for questioning
Omar is alive and fighting against Marlos people and he keeps telling people to marlo hes a bitch and he wont me omar in the street
Marlo stakes out a house for a few days where marlos people are staying turns out to be a set up on omar chris, mike, snoop and o dawg are there waiting omars friend the older guy with the beer guy dont remember his name gets killed omar jumps out a window and gets away
omar keeps striking marlos boys blowing up cars with the cash in it
The newspaper guy keeps making up stuff and its getting worse
sen davis decides to take the fall for the crimes and gets a very good lawyer its look he might get off
Omar is still alive as of ep 7 i havent seen past it theres more buti cant think off hand if you ask some questions just ask ill try to shed light on anything you asked that i didnt cover
I hope Omar kills Marlo, Chris & Snoop. I have had enough of Marlo but can understand the threat he felt from PJ. The Greeks might not be to ohappy with the killing of PJ.
first of all on season 4 monk get bodie marlos luietenant.memba he the one that seen him just pause the dvd..second if u didnt notice all the time marlo was goin to vondas they turned him back in favor of joe right….i honestly dont think marlo killed joe cuz he felt he was threat or he was hating it wasnt none of that the main greek from season 2 made that happen when marlo bought up the robbery u see the old mans demeanor change he felt away about that shipment and knew joe was soft so joe was dealing wit the numba 2 marlo got picked up by the real boss the jew….he took a liking to marlos shrewdness as for the rest i dont kno.and who kills omar and does marlo or any of them get bodied?
Epiosde 5 starts off with Vondas & Marlo talking Vondas doesnt seem to upset about the Prop Joe killing and hands him a cell phone so they know how to get in contact about the meets and what not
Also no Prez, Randy, & Namond so far as of EP 7 also the dock worker Johnny “Fifty” Spamanto (stole the mercedes from the dock w/ ziggy) from season 2 is shown as one of the homeless people there is a quick clip of him drinking when the sun reporter is looking for more on his homeless serial killer
Is Omar the stick up boy who kills Dukie? I heard Dukie is used as a pawn and set up. Poor kid gets shot up.
What happens to marlo though ? Will he get caught or killed by Omar first ?

Snoop & Chris are in hiding in and Chris keeps throwing a knife in the same spot its pretty funny to see him sort of shaken by Omar and worried about his family.. in Ep 7 Omar is pretty limpy from getting shot when he goes to see Michael on the corner and tells him to send a message to Omar. Also Omar kills Savino a soldier who use to run with barksdale he’s in a few episodes in season 1.
Randy iz in ep. 6 or 7, prop joe dies, omar jumps out the 5th floor and he kills a couple of marlo peoples
I believe Avon gets out because didn’t the guy who Avon is based on get released because its discovered the police planted heroin on him? With Jimmy planting all this evidence and messing with the crime scenes, it could effect his previous cases like Avon & Wee Bay if Levy gets it to court
Marlo and Chris go to jail.
Marlo is raped by Avon and WeeBay in Jessup.
Omar kills Savino, Monk, Vinson and Snoop.
Cheese kills Omar.
Slim Charles kills Cheese.
Michael and Dukie leave “the game” with help from Cutty.

Unfortunately I have not seen the first 3 seasons. Before this 5th season is over I’m definitely going to watch all 3 seasons. But judging from last year….
~ I want Marlo to be tortured. Not jailed, not just instantly killed but tortured he is so ruthless and like someone previously said he is a great mix of INTELLIGENCE & PURE EVIL. All the people he (ahem…Chris & Snoop) have killed its insane.
~ For some reason I think Michael is going to play a bigger role may possibly even turn on Marlo. Remember in the car he was questioning Marlo logic on why someone had to die just because they called Marlo a dick sucker?
~ Omar really not sure about. I like Omar. But his days are numbered. HOW THE HELL DID HE DO THE SUPERMAN CRAP? I WAS WAITING FOR A FLASHBACK OR SOMETHING!!
~ I want McNulty to get kicked off and go to jail. That would be a death sentence for him- unfortunately
~ P. Joe had to go. He was grimey not only that he was way too smart to still be hanging around. He should have known it was just a matter of time before Marlo turned on him also.

Omar is killed by Kenard. Kenard was whipped by Mike in the last season, leaving a scar much like Omar’s. Mike kills Snoop, and Chris lets Mike live. Chris goes to jail. Marlo goes to prison and is raped. Poot remains the same. McNulty dies in a car crash while drinking. Bunk quits. Freemon retires. Greggs moves up in rank. Oh yeah, and Mike’s friend…you know the poor kid?,…he dies in crossfire as an innocent civilian. Slim kills Cheese and takes over the streets for Avon. The Greek continues to drink coffee. Weebay attempts to work a deal between Chris and Avon. Chris is doubled crossed and murdered. Not long after, when Avon found out about it, he killed Weebay. Weebay’s son Namond ends up working out at Cutty’s gym. Bubs finally overdoses…NOT,…no man he cleans up for good. What ever happens to what’s his name…the kid that went to the group home?
I can’t believe that little kid killed Omar. What is with the tag mix up at the morgue? Left me a bit confused. I hope Mike pulls the trigger on Snoop and both Chris and Marlo end up in jail and Avon kills them both. But how much more can we find out with just 2 episodes? I think McNulty will get fired and Lester will retire. Clay will be Clay and not get busted.

Bunk tried to question him but guess he learned his lesson about snitching~ so he refused to talk. I’m about to go rent the first couple of seasons before I watch the last 2 episodes! It better be a BANGING ending.
So I just watched the 2nd to last episode. Whoa. I didn’t know Kima (Greggs) was going to snitch on McNulty. Then- that damn Herc is giving info to the cops and going back telling the lawyer all the information also. Not only is the street dirty but so is the police dept. in this episode.

To answer my own question which i just found out the answer to the finale is 93mins long so it makes me happier to see The Wire and extra 33mins. And yeah no Finale on On Demand we all have to wait shiiiiiit….

It was both good and bad - I think I was a bit disappointed in how quick they dealt with the Marlo issue and that nothing happened to the news reporter.
The 5th season sucked and the last episode was the worst episode of them all.The writers rushed threw it,just so they could start on that new war series.
